The Illusion of Fear

August 11, 2017

Spiritualism, as it demonstrates to us the continuity of life and the many opportunities to learn and experience what life gives us, transforms the fear into an irrational feeling. Of course, the fact of recognizing a feeling as irrational does not end it, but it's a start.

You existed before you were the son or daughter of your mother and father, and will continue to exist after your body dies. You will continue forever, individuality is never lost. Only the conviction of this fact should already be enough to realize that there is nothing to fear, that fear is an illusion, that everything has another chance, that everything continues, renews and transforms. No adversity is permanent, not to mention that most of them are speculative; we fear with antecedence.

Jesus once said that the greatest teaching that has come to Earth, in the Sermon on the Mount, is that we should not worry about the tomorrow.: He said "Look at the lilies of the field, neither toil nor spin. However, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If God created the grass of the field like this, which grows today and tomorrow, and is thrown into the fire, what about you, those of little faith?" This is one of the most profound things that we have already been taught, and perhaps precisely because of its simplicity, it has not yet received till this day the due value.

What is Jesus telling you? To stop worrying about what has not yet happened, to stop suffering by anticipation, to stop fearing for tomorrow. What you must understand, what we all should understand is that we are Divine particles, we are part of God which is ours, God manifests Himself to you through you! God who dwells within you, wants your best, always. Never blame God. Never attribute to God the faults you committed. It is always good to remember that the seeding is free, but the harvest is mandatory. You reap today what you sowed yesterday. Reap tomorrow what to plant today. That is the way. Learn to accept your mistakes and do not put blame on God, destiny, life, others. Everything that happens with you is caused by you. There’s no point in ranting.

The fear of life is born from guilt. Guilt for having done something wrong by not doing what should be done, by not practicing what you know and by not accepting who you really are It is not easy to abandon fear. You do not quit a habit ingrained. You need to replace it. Replace fear with trust, by courage, strength. You can, provided you start at the beginning. And the beginning is to recognize your mistakes. Is it not beautiful when a child confesses some mischief, embarrassed or tearful? It is beautiful because it is true, not because it is a child. We need to recognize that it is our responsibility towards life. This is the way to replace the fear with trust, unconditional love for life. Of course there are difficulties. There will always be on this planet. But fear attracts fear. Your mental vibrations of fear attract the mental vibrations of fear of others, embodied and disembodied. The opposite also happens. The vibrations of trust, faith, courage, joy, appreciation and gratitude to life attract similar vibrations. You decide what you want for yourself. We decide what we want for us. To want is powerful. Want what is right, do your best, and do good for others.

A time dedicated to our Spiritual and Physical balance and harmony. Everyone is welcome. No previous experience with any spiritual teaching is needed. This meeting is recommended as a “Spiritual Support” to help all of us face our challenges and overcome them with balance and wisdom.
